To help your child be ready for the 17th, routines in your family schedule can be super helpful. We also use this time to identify the strengths, interests and needs of your child. During this jump start experience, your child will have an opportunity to explore new learning, meet our amazing kindergarten staff, experience routines and procedures suchĪs learning stations, art, reading, math, fine motor, using the bathroom, how to go to different classrooms, breakfast time in the cafeteria and so much more. Morning breakfast will be served in our cafeteria. Students will come from 8:45-11:45, Wednesday- Friday. We hope you are looking forward to our Jump start program from August 17th-19th. I am so proud to have gone to Mariposa and to have the unique schooling and opportunities it gave me.Hello Hazel Valley Kindergarten families, When I went to high school, I was more than prepared. Mariposa encourages parents to give their kids screens only on the weekends, so their growing brains won't be stunted by media. Every kid in my class was brilliant and happy to go to school. The curriculum focuses on teaching kids stuff when they are the most excited for it, and also on the kids social emotional development. We did a pentathlon where we learned how to throw a javelin and a discus, how to wrestle the Grecian way, and we did sprinting and the long jump. In 5th grade we learned about ancient mythologies, and at the end of the school year, we were focusing on Ancient Greek mythology. You learn handwriting, handwork, religions and cultures, Spanish, writing, reading, math.
I am a freshman in high school but Mariposa was amazing. Freshman: I can't even begin to explain how much I loved Mariposa.
